Nedjetti Harvey’s touch as a celebrity hair artist and men’s groomer in the entertainment industry for 14+ years accounts for her ability to switch up and make music with her fingers no matter what texture she run her creative hands through. Proudly, Nedjetti has accomplished all she has without a PR firm or management attesting to Nedjetti’s passionate, relentless and determined vision in fulfilling her Godly calling. Taught by her loving mother Shirley, Nedjetti has been passionately styling hair since age seven. Nedjetti's maternal grandmother was a cosmetologist and paternal grandfather was a barber, affirming why styling hair is the essence of her core, her soul.

Nedjetti is also a NJ based salon owner, competition judge, int'l natural hair key note speaker and a L'Oreal Soft Sheen-Carson platform educator.

With delightful pleasure, Nedjetti has styled and groomed the tresses of Ilyasah Shabazz, Cedella Marley, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Melba Moore, Francisco Lachowski, Marsha Ambrosius, Genevieve Gorder, James McDaniel, Alessandra Ambrosio, Eva Marcille, Bree Williamson, Beth Ann Bonner, Mos Def, Clarke Peters and Adepero Oduye among others.

Nedjetti is honored to be a 2013 Black Celebration nominee for her dedication and contribution as a beauty professional within the African American community.

Yes, Nedjetti styles all hair types during her jobs within the industry, but as a renowned natural hair care guru of 20+ years, Nedjetti promotes and celebrates the essence in wearing your hair in its beautiful organic state. Nedjetti’s heartfelt philosophy has paved the way for her to become LOreal’s Soft Sheen-Carson natural hair specialist and a respected innovative hair artist within the beauty industry.

Nedjetti’s was Dept Head Hair for Director Spike Lee’s "Red Hook Summer" 2012 feature and Aug 2011, Nedjetti was key hair to Opera vocalists Laura Aikin, Myrto Papatanasiu and Sunhae Im for their amazing performances at Jazz Lincoln Center for Don Giovanni with conductor Ivan Fischer.

Nedjetti believes in paying it forward and has volunteered her hair services to organizations such as The Flow Affair, Imperial Court of NY 'The Night of a Thousand Gowns' and The United Negro College Fund 1st Fashion show 'The Evening in Fashion'.

Nedjetti gave her time as a proud contributor in 100 Words of Wisdom for Women: a book and 31 day journal consisting of inspiring reflections from 40 of the most powerful and eloquent women of our time, including Madam CJ Walker great, great granddaughter and author A'Lelia Bundles and iconoclastic commentator & president of Bennett College Dr. Julianne Malveaux. All proceeds went to the national Lend Me Your Hand Domestic Violence Campaign.

Nedjetti relishes in styling hair for film, tv, runway, print, celebrities, theatre, commercials and red carpet and enjoys evolving on a daily basis. With every given opportunity, she exercises her 4 innate p’s throughout her walk in life, professionalism, promptness, precision and personality and she will bring a ray of light onto any creative job.
